We opened The Wine Shop @ Chef & the Farmer in downtown Kinston to fill a need in the community and to fill the empty space in our building! Kinston has been without a local wine shop for several years and Vivian and I thought that many of our customers and friends would enjoy taking home many of the wines we have in the restaurant. In addition, we added over 100 new selections, as well as over 140 craft beers to quench the thirst of our new “Brew” community in Kinston. Here are the stats:

We have tried to take the guess work out of buying wine. No more walking into a grocery store, or major retailer and label shopping. We taste all our wines, train our ever curious staff and offer tastes of many everyday value wines in the shop.
